Summer is on it's way in the US which means time for a summer holiday. Experience the magnificent Mountainous west of the USA in an RV. The scenic wonderland in Wyoming is the perfect place to be free and explore amongst mountains, lakes and crazy land forms! Day 1: Jackson
Pick up an RV in Salt Lake City or Denver ( the closest cities- but you can find one in many more places. Take a look here) and drive on up to the western town of Jackson, Wyoming. It sits at the foot of incredible mountains and lush landscapes. This small town gives you a taste of western cowboy culture blended with more contemporary shopping and galleries, museum and dining. It's cullinary delights are to be rivaled anywhere. Or, cook up a storm in your dinky RV kitchen .

Take a raft trip on the Snake River. Begin scenically then get a bit more pace in the whitewater! Look out for any wild life along the way! Jackson lies near a river perfect to learn the art of fly fishing! Fishing amongst the wildlife and mountains... perfect.
Head on up into Yellowstone National Park for a night or three. Such beautiful scenery will blow all in the RV away. Look out for the wildlife and be sure to pay a stop to the geysers and hot pools.
Go for a horse trek through the pretty trees and open meadows and trek alongside a canyon.
Explore the geothermal features, especially Old Faithful Geyser. Take a trip up to one of the largest high-altitude lakes in North America, take a swim or canoe on the lake. Check out the steaming geothermal lakes, a pristine blue colour, Mammoth Hot Springs Terraces, waterfalls, rivers and.... Bisons! Take in the spectacular view at Vista Point , overlooking the valley

Grand Teton is a breath-taking region to RV through. The dramatic mountain scape is only enhanced by the rivers and glaciers. The Teton range is a subrange of the Rocky Mountains which extends from southern Alaska to northern New Mexico.
Bike rides are on the cards in this area. Enjoy the mountain views from two wheels, an easy ride in most places so perfect for the whole family.
Feel a bit of adrenaline rafting the whitewater rapids or take a more serene Canoe on Jenny Lake. Go for a peaceful scenic float on Snake River to see the Grand Teton landscape from the water.

This roadtrip could be completed now or, if you do Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park around the other way, you could cruise on up to Beartooth Highway, reported as one of the most beautiful drives in America.
